Dr. George Amatuzzi, OD

Dr. George G. Amatuzzi is an optometrist with an optical boutique, contact lens services and an on-site lab. The office carries a wide selection of eyewear from high-end designers, and the staff personally selects frames to suit each patient's features and style. Contact lens services include evaluations for soft and gas permeable lenses, plus sessions on proper insertion and care.

The office houses its own optical laboratory, so lenses can be upgraded after a yearly exam, and frame repairs and adjustments are done in-house. Routine eye exams, contact lens fittings and medical office visits are offered. Hours run Tuesday through Saturday, with the office closed on Sunday and Monday. The practice is on Main Street in Ridgefield, where Dr. Amatuzzi grew up, and has been open since 1999.
