WPA Studios

WPA Studios is an architecture and interior design firm that focuses on urban infill, mixed-use buildings with a high residential component, and the rehabilitation of historic structures. The firm has worked with federal and state historic tax credit programs for about twenty-five years, and it also designs a small number of unique modern houses each year.

The firm's interior work started with leasing offices, clubhouses and other amenity spaces in its own buildings, and it now includes restaurants, single-family houses and offices. Project inquiries go through the office by phone or email during weekday business hours. Visitors can park in the lot behind the building, and the office has a conference room with a display, video camera and guest Wi-Fi for presentations. The studio is at 313 North Adams Street in Richmond.
