Wax Moon

Wax Moon is a vinyl and video store in Scott's Addition that carries records across many genres, along with horror movies on Blu-ray, VHS, DVD, laserdisc and more. The shop also sells shirts, patches, pins, metal badges, decals and movie and music posters, and it has a pinball arcade with more than 25 machines.

The record selection leans toward soundtracks, hip-hop, metal, post-punk, goth and industrial, with a smaller section of disco, funk, blues and classic rock. The space hosts private events such as corporate gatherings, birthday parties and get-togethers, and booking requests go through Instagram or email. DJ Griimoiire also spins for events, playing a wide mix of styles. The store is at 1310 Altamont Avenue in Richmond.
