Southern Kitchen Restaurant

Southern Kitchen Restaurant serves Southern and soul food, known for its fried chicken, shrimp and grits, blackened catfish and fried pork chops, along with sandwiches and salads. Chef and owner Shane Roberts-Thomas has built a following through a fried chicken and waffle taco and a chicken-stuffed egg roll with honey sauce that press coverage has highlighted over the years.

The restaurant is a local, woman-owned business founded in 2019 and now located at Stony Point Fashion Park on the South Richmond side of town. Guests can take food out, buy gift cards, and check in on the live jazz and happy hour specials offered on Fridays. Reservations are available through the website.
