RamTech

RamTech is the computer shop inside the Virginia Commonwealth University bookstore, run by Barnes & Noble for VCU students, faculty and staff. It sells laptops and desktops that the university's IT team and academic departments have vetted, and its FixIT counter handles repairs.

Staff can help match a system to a student's courses, and academic pricing keeps prices lower than many retail stores. A 4-year Safeware extended protection plan covers accidental damage on Apple and Dell computers, and a loaner may be available during longer repairs. The store keeps weekday hours and is closed on weekends.
