Old World Auctions

Old World Auctions is an auction house specializing in genuine antique maps, atlases and decorative graphics dating from the 14th to 19th centuries. Its online catalogs feature lots such as early world maps and charts, prints, manuscripts and historical documents, and the firm maintains an archive of past sale prices for buyers checking value.

Bidders can register online, watch lots and track active bids, and the auction runs in two-week sessions with a published calendar. Sellers can consign material through the firm's consignment process. The company is based in Henrico, Virginia, and states it guarantees the condition report for every item and authenticates what it sells.
