George E. Mowbray, Jr. Painting and Wallpapering Co. is a family painting and decorating business that handles interior and exterior painting, wallpaper installation and removal, and restoration work. The company offers color consultations in the home and custom palette creation, and its crew does carpentry repairs and surface preparation such as cleaning, sanding, puttying, caulking and priming before painting. Products include Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams paints.

The business has been run by the Mowbray family for four generations and serves the greater Richmond area, including the City of Richmond and Henrico, Goochland, Hanover and Chesterfield counties. Estimates are free, and each one comes with a written work description. The shop is on Gayton Centre Drive in Richmond, and crews keep job sites clean and orderly while they work.
