OakBend Medical Center

OakBend Medical Center is an independent, non-profit hospital serving Fort Bend County, with inpatient and outpatient care that ranges from family practice to cardiology, geriatrics and orthopedics. Its emergency rooms are built around no-wait care: patients are taken to a treatment room right after a quick registration. The three emergency care centers are staffed by physicians and nurses with advanced training in trauma life support and pediatric care.

The medical center also runs surgery centers, physical therapy clinics, medical imaging, a sleep lab and an acute care unit designed for older patients, along with physician offices across the county. Emergency rooms treat problems such as broken bones, minor burns, cuts, urinary tract infections and flu. The Jackson Street campus is in Richmond.
