The Star Auto Service

The Star Auto Service is a family-owned auto repair shop that has worked on cars and light trucks on Belt Line Road since 1998. It handles brakes, oil changes, engine diagnostics and repair, transmissions, electrical systems, AC and cooling work, tires, state inspections and fuel injection, with ASE-certified technicians and NAPA parts. Owner Miguel Ibarra opened the shop with the rule of never recommending a repair the car doesn't need.

Service is available in English or Spanish. Walk-ins are welcome for most work and for Texas state inspections, and online booking is also available. The diagnostic fee is credited toward repairs, and the shop serves drivers from Garland, Plano, Allen, Murphy and north Dallas. It is on E Belt Line Road in Richardson, across from the Coin Laundry.
