Taxi Mom

Taxi Mom is a student transportation company that runs reserved-seat routes to and from schools across North Texas. Families buy a dedicated seat on a route serving their child's school, and the company describes its drivers as screened to its own standards. The business has been providing rides since 2004, when it began in Richardson.

Route availability depends on the specific school, schedule and capacity, so families start with an availability request and the company confirms a seat before service begins. Service is door-to-door, and the company lists its headquarters in Richardson with weekday office hours. Its service areas include Anna, Dallas, Forney, Frisco, Garland, McKinney, Melissa, Mesquite, Plano, Prosper, Richardson and Wylie.
