SmartRoof

SmartRoof is an integrated roofing and solar company that handles roof repair and replacement, storm damage recovery, and solar panel or solar shingle installation. The company also installs energy efficient windows, doors, siding and trim, gutters, and insulation, so a homeowner can handle several upgrades with one contractor. Its website highlights a 50-year GAF warranty and more than 25,000 roof installations.

Homeowners start with a free roof inspection, which can be booked online at a time that suits them. SmartRoof has offices in several states, including its Reston, Virginia headquarters, and says it has helped homeowners work through storm damage claims. It does not file insurance claims or act as a public insurance adjuster on a customer's behalf.
