Roots Acupuncture & Wellness offers acupuncture, Chinese herbs and several targeted treatments, with a focus on infertility, sports medicine and pain management. Sessions include acupuncture with added modalities such as fire cupping, gua sha, e-stim and moxibustion, and the practice also offers facial rejuvenation and microneedling for skin health. Fertility support includes a consultation covering diet and lifestyle advice, plus acupuncture sessions around IVF embryo transfer.

The practice works by appointment, and Dr. Amanda Schultz is currently accepting new patients. New patients can email or text to schedule. Roots is in-network with Hometown Health and UMR, and new patients who want to use insurance can send their date of birth and a photo of their card for benefits verification. The office is on Double R Blvd in Reno, and it also has a supplement store.
