Rice Box Kitchen

Rice Box Kitchen serves simple Asian-inspired comfort food in takeout boxes, with Thai-style rice and noodle dishes such as khao soi gai, khao mun gai and mee grop tofu. Dishes are cooked fresh each day and many are gluten-free, with sauces containing gluten served on the side. Vegan and vegetarian options are available, and the kitchen avoids nuts and shellfish.

The restaurant is on South Center Street in downtown Reno, next to The Discovery Museum. Weekend and Sunday dim sum specials and shabu shabu dining are offered, and the shabu shabu all-you-can-eat service is Wednesday through Saturday evenings with reservations by email.
