Physical Therapist

ATS Physical Therapy is a physical therapist-owned practice that treats neck and back pain, knee and shoulder problems, foot and ankle pain, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Its Total Joint Program covers recovery after knee, ankle, shoulder, or hip replacement, with the therapist communicating with the operating surgeon as needed. The spine program combines core stabilization, home exercises, manual therapy, and education on body mechanics to reduce the risk of re-injury.

The practice opened in September 2002 and has two Reno locations, one downtown on Mill Street and one in the North Valleys on Stead Boulevard. Medicare, Medicaid, and most major group insurance are accepted, and staff speak Spanish. Weekday hours run from early morning through a midday break and into the late afternoon, with the practice closed on weekends.
