Juicy's Giant Hamburgers

Juicy's Giant Hamburgers serves old fashioned hamburgers and cheeseburgers cooked to order on a grilled sesame bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and mustard. Extras include bacon, extra cheese and Ortega chiles, and the menu also covers a grilled chicken sandwich, a BLT on sourdough, grilled cheese, a veggie burger, chili fries and handmade shakes. The business started in South Lake Tahoe in 1982 and later opened in Reno.

The Reno location on South McCarran Boulevard at Longley is the one that remains open after the Wells Avenue location closed. Delivery is available, and orders can be placed online or by phone, with pickup ready when you phone ahead. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Burgers are cooked to medium well unless you ask otherwise, and garnishes can be adjusted to your taste.
