Great Basin Bicycles

Great Basin Bicycles is a bike shop that sells and services road, mountain, family and tandem bikes for riders from beginners to experienced cyclists. The shop handles tune-ups and repairs, with most tune-ups finished the next day and many quick repairs done on the spot. It also runs Compu-Trainer classes and bike fits, and publishes trail maps and gravel and destination rides on its website.

You can wheel a bike in through the automatic front door, leave a note with what needs doing along with your name and phone number, and walk out. The shop can take a credit card over the phone and usually has the bike ready at the front door within 24 hours. The store sits on South Virginia Street in Reno, behind the Human Bean coffee kiosk, and is open Monday through Saturday with holiday closures.
