Bangkok Cuisine Reno

Bangkok Cuisine Express is a family-style Thai restaurant run by Chef Toom, who has cooked Thai food for about fifteen years. The menu covers red, green, panang and pumpkin curries, stir-fried noodles like Pad Thai and drunken noodles, and satay, with seafood specials such as jumbo scallop with asparagus and seafood hot pot. Most dishes let you choose chicken, pork, beef, tofu, shrimp or duck.

Entrees are cooked to order, so expect a short wait during busy hours. The kitchen uses plenty of peanuts, fish sauce and soy sauce, so anyone with allergies should mention them when ordering, since the kitchen cannot promise a peanut-free dish. Gluten-free and vegetarian versions are available on request, and the restaurant says it uses no MSG. Weekday lunch specials come with an appetizer and salad.
