Firefighter Tree Service

Firefighter Tree Service is a firefighter-owned tree care company that handles trimming, pruning, removal, stump grinding, lot clearing and tree health work, with ISA-certified arborists doing the job. Palm trimming and storm cleanup are among the most common calls, and the company says it has worked on more than 500 Bay Area properties.

The company answers calls around the clock for emergencies such as fallen trees and hazardous limbs, and it provides photos and documentation for insurance claims. Standard jobs are scheduled within three days of an approved estimate, estimates are free and on-site, and the company handles permits for protected or heritage trees. Seniors 65 and older get $50 off any tree job. The office is at 419 Duane Street in Redwood City, and the crews cover the Peninsula, South Bay and San Francisco.
