Esri

Esri is a Redlands-based software company that builds ArcGIS, a geographic information system platform for mapping, spatial analytics and data sharing. Its customers include large retailers, utilities, consultants and state and local governments, which use the software to guide decisions about where to build, how to manage infrastructure and how to plan housing and communities.

Esri sells ArcGIS as enterprise software and online services, and it also publishes articles, magazines, podcasts and a free online course on building location-based apps. Its annual Infrastructure Management and GIS Conference is held in Palm Springs, California. The company's headquarters is at 380 New York Street in Redlands.
