Woody's Brewing Company

Woody's Brewing Company is a family-owned brewery in downtown Redding that brews its own beers, including a Belgian white ale, Quickie IPA, Shasta Haze hazy IPA, Whiskeytown Wheat and Nutty Woody brown ale. The kitchen serves a menu of pub food, and around Oktoberfest it runs German-style specials such as schnitzel, cabbage rolls and beef goulash, each paired with a seasonal release. Four packs of beer are sold to go.

The tap list rotates, and the brewery sits just across the tracks on Oregon Street. Owners Bart and Ami are lifelong Redding residents who have run the brewery since taking over from the previous owners. The space has a banquet room, and the brewery can be booked for full buyouts. A beer trailer, kegs and gift cards are also available, and the brewery takes orders for pickup or delivery. Reservations can be made in advance.
