Redding Midwifery Group

Redding Midwifery Group is a midwifery practice offering family-centered maternity care for healthy women who choose an out-of-hospital birth. The practice offers water birth at home and at its birth center, and says it is fully equipped for all low-risk pregnancies and deliveries, including VBACs. Naomi Bjorgan, LM, IBCLC owns and runs the practice and has served the Redding area since 2016.

A free consultation and a birth center tour can be arranged through the office by phone or the contact form. Phone calls are returned Monday through Thursday. The birth center sits about five minutes from Mercy Medical Center Redding, which suits families who want an out-of-hospital setting but prefer to be near the hospital.
