Floranthropist

Floranthropist is a floral studio and gift shop in downtown Redding that arranges fresh-cut flowers to order. Its best-known offerings are same-day flower delivery, sympathy flowers, and wedding flowers, and it also handles private events and corporate events. Arrangements are built by hand, with flowers locally sourced when available, and customers can share the occasion and preferred colors so the florists can craft a custom design.

The studio is at 2172 Market Street, a building the owners describe as the oldest florist building in Redding, and the shop next door sells houseplants, candles, jewelry and gifts. Orders placed by noon can be delivered the same day to Redding and nearby areas, and sympathy arrangements go to funeral homes across Redding and the surrounding area. Weekday and Saturday hours are posted, and wedding consultations are free.
