PXG Palm Desert Fitting Studio

PXG Palm Desert Fitting Studio is a custom golf club fitting studio run by PXG, the golf club maker. Fittings use a virtual golf simulator and TrackMan launch monitor to match clubs to a golfer's swing, with separate sessions for full bags, a player's choice focus, a 30-minute club trial, and putter fittings. The shop also carries PXG apparel, accessories, bags and hats in a retail showroom.

Fittings are booked in advance, and a fitter reaches out beforehand to learn about the golfer's swing and goals. The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday and Monday visits by appointment only. It sits in a 1,120-square-foot space in Rancho Mirage with fitting bays, guest seating, a practice putting green and a customer lounge.
