Mt. Woodson Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course in the rugged hills of northeast San Diego County, set among ancient oaks, granite boulders and lakes. The course measures about 6,000 yards at par 70 and was designed by Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt. Holes have evocative names such as Ledges, Tree Tops and The Beach, and a 450-foot wooden bridge crosses between holes two and three.
The course is a target-style layout that golfers of any skill level can play. Tee times can be booked online, and gift cards are sold through the pro shop. The club also hosts corporate tournaments, fundraising events and group outings. A bar and grill and nearby accommodations are part of the grounds, and the club is open daily from 6 AM until sunset at 16422 N. Woodson Dr. in Ramona.
