The ZEN Succulent

The Zen Succulent makes handmade succulent terrariums and sells houseplants, mostly succulents and cacti grown locally in Durham, North Carolina. Its glass terrarium kits come in 4-inch, 6-inch and 8-inch sizes and include the plants, sand, rocks, soil and a wooden dowel, so buyers assemble the piece at home. The houseplant lineup runs from small zebra haworthias to trailing strings of hearts and bananas.

Orders can ship next day, and the shop offers a 30-day thriving guarantee on its plants. Workshop bookings are available for offices, student groups and private gatherings, with the hands-on session brought to the group. Some plants are labeled non-toxic and pet-friendly while others are toxic to pets, so check the care notes before bringing one home. The terrariums are for indoor use only.
