Renovated mid-century motor lodge with a neighborhood loungeRaleigh, NC

The Longleaf Hotel is a renovated mid-century motor lodge on the northern edge of downtown Raleigh, originally opened as a Travelodge in the 1960s. The redesign takes its cues from the longleaf pine, and original starshine breeze blocks that had been hidden behind stucco were uncovered and kept as a feature.
The attached lounge, The Longleaf Lounge, draws both locals and visitors and offers bar snacks by chef Vivian Howard along with grab-and-go bites from Viv's Fridge. Guests can check in at 3 PM and check out at 12 PM, and parking is available on site for hotel and lounge guests. Group bookings and events are handled through an inquiry form on the website.
