St. Francis of Assisi Preschool

St. Francis of Assisi Preschool is a Catholic preschool in Raleigh, NC, run as part of the educational ministry of the Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi. It takes children from toddler age through transitional kindergarten, with classes for two-, three- and four-year-olds, and its approach centers on play-based learning alongside faith formation. Founded more than 30 years ago, the school aims to foster holiness, hope and hospitality in a child-centered setting.

Registration for the 2027-2028 year runs in January, starting with current students and siblings, then alumni, parish families and the wider community, so families hoping for a spot should plan ahead. A summer camp is also offered. The preschool sits alongside the Franciscan School and St. Francis of Assisi Parish, and it is part of the Diocese of Raleigh.
