Bayonet at Puppy Creek Golf Course

Bayonet at Puppy Creek is an 18-hole public golf course in Raeford, with a par 72 layout stretching about 6,819 yards. The course was designed by Willard Byrd to test every part of a golfer's game, with uphill and downhill par 3s, reachable par 5s, doglegs in both directions, and four holes that play alongside Puppy Creek. Its 15-acre practice range includes a grass tee area, a chipping green and two putting greens.

The course is owned by Carolina Turf Farms, a family turf business that has grown grass for three generations, and golfers often note how well the fairways and greens are kept. Tee times can be booked online, and the pro shop handles memberships, golf packages and youth programs. The course sits on S Parker Church Road, just off the highway in Raeford.
