About Greater Racine Kennel Club

The story

Greater Racine Kennel Club is a nonprofit dog training club that offers pet and competition training for dogs and their owners. Its classes cover agility, puppy, obedience and rally, scentwork, and conformation workshops. The club also hosts annual AKC obedience, agility and rally trials as well as AKC conformation shows.

The public is welcome to watch the shows or enroll in any class. The club has been serving the greater Racine area since the early 1960s and takes part in demonstrations at the State Fair Dog Fair and area pet fairs that promote positive training methods. The clubhouse is at 6 Mile Road in Racine, on the north side of Highway G, and the club also rents its building out.
