About Creative Critters

The story

Creative Critters Learning Center runs family-owned daycare centers across Greater Williamsburg, with an early literacy focus for children from six weeks to 12 years old. Classrooms are grouped by age, from Cuddlebugs for infants and Caterpillar rooms for toddlers and two-year-olds to Butterfly for three- to five-year-olds. The programs aim to prepare preschoolers for kindergarten and give school-age children homework help.

Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Tours are offered daily with no commitment, and parents can walk through the classrooms and meet the teachers before enrolling. Owners Kathy and Curt Gray are involved in daily operations, and the Quinton location is one of several centers in the area, including Norge, West Point and Williamsburg.
