Monroe Electrology

Monroe Electrology is a permanent hair removal practice run by owner and electrologist Leanne Monroe. Electrology treats almost any area of the body and face except inside the nose or deep in the ear canal, and the practice works on all hair colors and types, from fine peach fuzz to dark or grey coarse hair. Electrology can be combined with laser when performed properly, and nerve-blocking injectable anesthetic and stronger topical numbing options are available for sensitive areas.

The office is located behind Wendy's on South Meridian in Puyallup, and appointments are by booking rather than walk-in. Monroe works with several insurance plans and can provide superbills with CPT and diagnosis codes, and she receives referrals from endocrinologists, dermatologists and gender-affirming care providers. New clients are asked to send details about their areas of concern, any referral, scheduled surgeries and schedule flexibility, since openings are limited. Most forms of payment are accepted, including credit and debit cards.
