Palo Tapas Bar

Palo Tapas Bar serves Spanish-style small plates inspired by Andalucía, with a menu that also draws on Middle Eastern, North African and Mediterranean flavors. Seafood tapas such as grilled shrimp, swordfish and Rhode Island calamari sit alongside lamb kebabs, oxtail, a board of Spanish cheeses and cured meats, and a Spanish omelette. The menu changes with the season, so dishes like corn croquetas or a fall fattoush salad may rotate.

Reservations can be made online through Resy, and the restaurant also takes gift cards. Tapas are meant for sharing, and the menu notes a 20% gratuity added to parties of more than six. Guests with food allergies are asked to tell their server before ordering. The restaurant is at 3 Steeple Street in Providence, and it opens Wednesday through Sunday.
