Haven Brothers Diner

Haven Brothers Diner is a stainless steel mobile diner that has served late night comfort food in downtown Providence since 1893, when it started as a horse drawn cart. The menu is built around burgers, including the Murder Burger, plus the Garbage Plate and a long list of milkshakes in many flavors, with root beer floats also on offer. Regulars make a point of ordering a shake.

The diner is parked in Kennedy Plaza downtown, where you can order at the window or sit inside in the Aluminum Room. Hours run from 5pm into the early morning, with later closing on Fridays and Saturdays. Haven Brothers also runs a mobile catering fleet, including a food truck and an ice cream truck, for weddings, corporate events and festivals. The Giusti family has owned the diner since 1986.
