Geoff's Superlative Sandwiches

Geoff's Superlative Sandwiches is a sandwich shop on South Main Street in Providence that has been around for more than 40 years. The menu runs to over 90 sandwiches, with hot and cold options on a range of breads, and the Customer Favorites include the J. Savage, the Reuben and the Godzilla, a large hot corned beef sandwich. Egg salad, tuna and chicken salad sandwiches also appear on the menu, along with a few vegetarian choices. A complimentary barrel of deli pickles sits in the middle of the shop.

You can order ahead online or by phone at the store, and the shop also takes catering orders and sells gift cards. The shop seats over 50 people in a newer building that opened in 2018. It is open every day from 10am to 7pm, and the owner, Julio, has run the shop since 1999.
