East Side Pockets

East Side Pockets serves fresh Middle Eastern food, known for its falafel, hummus, chicken kabob, gyro, kafta, wraps and salads. The family's recipes trace back to a tradition that began in Syria in 1982, and the menu also includes other Middle Eastern specialties.

The restaurant is on Thayer Street in Providence and serves lunch, dinner and late-night meals. Customers can eat in, order online for pickup or arrange a catering pickup. Students from Brown University and RISD are among its regulars, along with residents and visitors.
