Coffee Exchange

Coffee Exchange roasts specialty coffee every day and sells it whole bean or ground, including single-origin coffees, blends, limited offerings, and decaf. Its current limited release is a Dominican Republic red honey coffee from a family-owned farm, shade-grown at high altitude, with notes of dark chocolate and cherry. The shop also sells home brewing gear such as AeroPress, Chemex and grinders, along with filters, merchandise, and a small selection of honey and chocolate.

Customers can order online for delivery or choose local pickup, and a coffee club gives members 10% off. Part of the proceeds from Every Bean Counts purchases goes to coffee farming families' projects. The business has operated since 1984 and is on Wickenden Street in Providence. It is open most days of the year, closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas, and sells gift cards.
