Hiawatha Tree Services Inc.

Hiawatha Tree Services is a tree removal company that specializes in mechanized removal in built-up areas, where a climber or conventional removal is hard to manage. The crew handles hazardous trees, trees in tight or hard-to-reach spots, and jobs where the tree cannot safely support a climber. A father and son team runs the operations, and the company says it was the first in Minnesota to use a grapplesaw crane for tree removal.

The company takes scheduled removals and emergency work after storm and wind damage or tree failure. Its work includes construction site clearing, bulk removals and storm cleanup for municipalities, and urban wood recycling, where logs are saved for milling. Crews are fully licensed and insured. The company serves homeowners, commercial properties and municipalities from Minneapolis and St. Paul south to Prior Lake and beyond, and requests for estimates are taken through the website or by phone.
