Myocore

Myocore offers neuromuscular therapy, a manual therapy focused on correcting pain and movement problems caused by posture, muscle imbalance, trauma or repetitive movement. Melissa Oldaker, a licensed massage therapist and neuromuscular therapist, works on myofascial release, trigger point release, muscle activation and stretching. The practice lists low back pain, plantar fasciitis, shoulder pain, TMJ disorders, sciatica, carpal tunnel and tennis elbow among the conditions it treats, along with post-surgical rehabilitation and injury prevention.

This is a different approach from a spa deep tissue massage, and sessions are typically handled in a medical-style setting. Some conditions take more than one visit, and clients are taught self-care techniques between sessions. Appointments are required, and the office is at 9926 Brewster Lane in Powell, Ohio.
