Carriage Woodworks

Carriage Woodworks makes custom pieces for homes and businesses, from barn doors and mantels to tables, benches, shelves and desks. Each piece is designed around the client's own plans, and the work is known for careful attention to detail. Ryan Mowery leads the building, drawing on a background in mechanical engineering, and the family home is filled with his prototypes.

Projects start with a direct conversation: contact the shop to talk through what you have in mind, and a custom quote follows. Business clients commission bar-tops, benches and desks for their spaces. Ryan and Kate Mowery run the shop as a family business in Powell, Ohio, and describe it as a long-held dream finally made real.
