Kitsap Martial Arts

Kitsap Martial Arts teaches Budo Taijutsu, a traditional Japanese martial art built on natural movement, balance and practical self-defense, along with fitness kickboxing and a self-defense course. Classes are offered for adults and for kids in two age groups, 5 to 9 and 10 to 14, with a focus on focus, respect and self-control.

New students can sign up for a free trial class, and the kids program includes a two-week free trial. The self-defense course covers awareness, de-escalation and physical defense as a last resort, with no uniforms or experience needed. The dojo opened in October 2017 and is located in Poulsbo, Washington, on 8th Avenue NE.
