The Sashwright Co.

The Sashwright Co. restores historic wood windows and builds wood storm windows, and it also installs replacement windows, including energy-efficient models and custom window designs. Its work leans toward historic homes, where the company favors repairing and rebuilding original wood over swapping in vinyl or aluminum.

The company serves the greater Portland area and asks customers to book a needs assessment or consult first, which leads to a comprehensive estimate. Work is planned in advance, the crew protects interior spaces during construction, and the company also takes on commercial builders. The office is on North Interstate Avenue in Portland.
