MoveSMART®

MoveSMART® is an injury prevention training program built on techniques adapted from select martial arts, ergonomics, movement science and industrial psychology. It teaches people to apply safer movement habits to lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs and using tools, both at work and at home. The program has been used worldwide since 1983 and is offered to companies that want to reduce strains, slips, trips, falls and hand injuries.

Training is delivered face to face and built around hands-on practice, so participants experience the methods for themselves. Companies can also train their own instructors to deliver the program internally. The testimonials on the site come from rail, manufacturing, aviation and distribution businesses. The mailing address is in Portland, Oregon, and questions can be sent by email or phone.
