Kaady Appliances

Kaady Appliances sells used and open-box appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ranges and wall ovens. Each unit is tested, cleaned and repaired where needed, and any cosmetic damage is noted in its own listing. The store has been run by the same family since 1989, and the people who inspect the machines are the ones who answer the phone.

Delivery is handled by the store's own crew for a flat fee by distance, and the crew can haul away an old appliance on the same trip. Every appliance carries a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty, and most GE open-box units also include the manufacturer's warranty. The shop is on SE Stark Street in East Portland and is open late on weekends. Delivery reaches Portland and nearby suburbs as well as parts of Vancouver, WA.
