George & Friends

George & Friends Dog Training is a private dog training practice led by Risa Meynarez, CPDT-KA, a nationally certified professional dog trainer. The focus is on coaching people to communicate with and train their own dogs, using positive reinforcement and relationship-based methods. Work covers reactive, fearful, and anxious dogs, rescue dogs, and families bringing a new dog home, across many breeds and mixes.

Lessons are one-on-one and can take place at home or on location, offered as single sessions or packages of three or five lessons. Between lessons, clients can book practice sessions with Risa and join open group walks for current and former students. Online booking is available, and the practice is based in Northwest Portland, Oregon.
