Emerson Hardwood Group

Emerson Hardwood Group is a wholesale distributor of domestic and imported hardwood and softwood lumber, plywood, veneers, hardwood flooring, decking and moldings. The company traces its roots to a band mill and veneer saw established in Portland in 1907 and has since grown into a multi-division business. Its Crosscut Hardwoods stores, which sell specialty hardwood to woodworkers, are located in Portland, Seattle and Eugene.

Emerson's own molding and millwork department, EM2, mills baseboards, crown moldings and chair rail, and custom moldings are also available. The flooring division sells supplies and tools to contractors and retailers, and its designer showrooms are open to the public for product selection. Will call and showroom hours run weekdays, and the Portland office is at Northwest Front Avenue.
