Washo Grooming

Washo Grooming is a one-on-one dog grooming salon run by owner and groomer Abigail Washo, who has been grooming professionally for five years. Each dog is the only one in the salon during its appointment, so there is no crate time and no waiting alongside other dogs. Full grooming covers bath, blow-dry, haircut, nails and ear cleaning, and a bath and blowout option is also available.

Appointments are made by text or email, and the owner asks for the pet's name, breed and age along with a preferred date and time. Stand-alone nail trims are offered by appointment. The salon is on Congress Street in Portland, Maine, and is open Monday through Friday with Saturday hours and closed on Sunday.
