ScrubaDub

ScrubaDub runs express exterior tunnel car washes on Forest Avenue in Portland, with four wash packages ranging from a basic express wash to an Ultra Wash that adds wax, tire shine and ceramic protection. The chain traces back to a single car wash in Watertown, Massachusetts, in 1966 and now has locations across New England.

Drivers can also use self-serve wash bays, which are open 24 hours a day, and vacuums are free at this location. An unlimited membership gives one vehicle as many washes as it wants for a flat monthly fee, and members can use it at any ScrubaDub tunnel. If a wash isn't right, the crew will rewash the car or refund the money. During bad weather the wash may close, so check by phone first.
