Portland Pottery

Portland Pottery is a pottery studio and supply shop that offers adult and kids clay classes, private lessons and pottery parties for makers of all levels. The business also sells clay, glazes, wheels and kilns to home potters, studios and schools, and provides paid firings and equipment repairs. The gallery displays work by staff, teachers and students, much of it made in the studio.

Classes and parties run at the Washington Avenue studio and at the Fox Street studio, which opened in 2024. The Washington Avenue gallery is open every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Supply shops in Portland and Braintree, Massachusetts take orders by phone, and gift certificates are available.
