NE Ocean Cluster

The New England Ocean Cluster is a private-sector, membership-based network that connects people and companies working on sustainable economic opportunity in the ocean economy. Its collaborative workspace, the Hús, offers floating desks, permanent desks and private glass offices, and the group runs programs for early-stage startups along with regular gatherings that bring the ocean community together.

Memberships range from floating access to shared spaces to permanent desks and private offices, and day passes let visitors spend a day in the space. The Hús occupies the second floor at 68 Commercial Street on Portland's waterfront, above Scales Restaurant, and includes an executive boardroom, breakout rooms and phone booths. Events include the Entrepreneurship in the Blue Economy series and the annual Walk the Working Waterfront.
