Legacy Construction

Legacy Construction builds custom homes, home additions and high-end remodels across Southern Maine. Joe Hausler, the founder and owner, spent 15 years managing commercial projects before starting the company, and that background shapes how jobs are planned and tracked. Services also include garages, decks, kitchen and bathroom remodels, house plans and design, and roofing.

Most custom homes take 10 to 14 months from foundation to final walkthrough, with projects usually ranging from about $400,000 to over $2 million. Each project starts with detailed plans and a fixed-price contract before construction begins. Free estimates are available, and the company lists towns including Biddeford, Scarborough, Falmouth and Westbrook, and says it will come to other nearby towns too. Work carries a five-year workmanship warranty.
